We all need moments of calm and I don’t want to overwhelm you.

I know that social media can be a lot. Especially when it’s not your full time job. I want to help by sharing my knowledge, but I’m also aware that it can be a bit intense.

So today I’ll just say, it’s ok to take a breather. It’s ok to take a moment. You don’t have to be perfect all the time.

Scrolling through my feed recently I’ve seen a lot of cocktail recipes and I often save them to a little folder so that I can make them later. I never do. ⁠

But this week I decided I’m going to start making my way through those cocktails and I’m going to share this journey with you, because...well if I don’t put it on the gram, did it even happen?⁠

First up, is a delicious number by @pippaguy using @tanqueraygin @campariuk and @twokeysdrinks pink grapefruit mixer (recipe reel coming tomorrow). ⁠

It reminds me of the drinks my husband used to make me when we first met (he often used pink grapefruit because pink drinks were my thing), so this is a big winner for me!⁠

I decided to start off 2021 with a new routine. The routine I wanted to have. But waking up at 6 am has meant I've really been struggling to get through the whole afternoon. ⁠

Just by coincidence, I saw @heydaymate on the stories of @madamecamillevidal and thought, that packaging is cool, I'll buy it. (I'm such a sucker for a pretty can)⁠

I hadn't realised that Yerba Maté (a herbal tea that heyday is made from) is packed with naturally occurring caffeine. ⁠

Now I have the perfect balance. A soft drink that's tasty and a way to give me that extra boost in the afternoon.⁠

Hashtags are a bonus to your post, but they're not magic. If your post isn't already bringing value to your audience, hashtags won't save it. ⁠⠀
