There are so many Gins available right now and it can be a bit overwhelming. For me, I like a Gin that is simple and has a clear, recognisable flavour profile. Jaffa Cake Gin is exactly what it says on the tin (or should I say bottle?). For those of you who love this sweet snack and have dreamed about ways to combine it with your favourite Gin, your prayers have been answered. It smells like a Gin, but when you taste it you’re suddenly reminded of that sweet chocolate topped sponge with a tangy orange centre. So how do they manage to get such a clear recognisable flavour into their Gin?

The Botanicals
Distilled with oranges, fresh orange peel, cocoa powder and real-life Jaffa cakes. Yes, you read that correctly. Jaffa Cakes. In the still and now in your glass. By using real Jaffa Cakes in the distillation process, the flavour is immaculately clear, yet you can still taste the familiar woody Juniper.

How to drink Jaffa Cake Gin
Jaffa Cake Gin is best served in a Negroni. Here is their recipe if you’d like to try it yourself!
Ingredients:
25ml Jaffa Cake Gin
25ml Campari
25ml Martini Rosso sweet vermouth
Method:
Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and give a good shake. Strain into an ice-filled tumbler. Garnish with an orange peel or, for an indulgent extra, a Jaffa cake on the edge of your glass like a citrus wheel.
