This week has already been slightly chaotic and super busy, so my sleep has suffered a bit. (Not helped by Kasper waking up at 5 am on Tuesday)⁠

So when I finish work for the day I like to have a little pick me up to get me through the evening. I was very kindly sent this bottle of Espresso Martini by @tailscocktails and I know I'll be reaching for this after a long day. ⁠

One year ago I married this perfect, wonderful man. All the highlights of our crazy wedding were because of him. ⁠⠀

This year has flown by and wasn't exactly the first year of marriage that we expected but as my husband, Nate has given me unlimited unconditional love and support. He's been my number one cheerleader and helped me grow my businesses, even when I thought I was failing. ⁠⠀

7 IDEAS FOR WHAT TO POST ON YOUR STORIES 💡⁠

After our chat on Sunday, I wanted to save you some time and give you a weeks worth of ideas for what to share on your stories. I recommend using one idea a day, split up over multiple slides. ⁠

🌑 Explain who you are and what you do. Its always nice to give your audience an update, plus you can use this as a story highlight for any new followers to find. ⁠
⁠
🌒 Share behind the scenes. It gives your followers further insight into your business and brings them closer to you. When they feel part of your journey (a cliché I know) they will be more likely to support you. ⁠
⁠
🌓 Have a chat. Use the stickers to ask your audience questions. Things like, why do they follow you, what content do they enjoy the most, what can you help them with can change the way you plan future content. ⁠

🌔 Recommend accounts. Become an account your audience can trust by recommending other accounts they might like. These don't have to be direct competitors but can be like-minded businesses. ⁠

🌕 Share a day in your life. Daily vlogs are a growing trend, so why not use your stories to take your audience through a day in your businesses. Examples include making your product, packaging orders, preparing to open, interacting with regulars etc. ⁠

🌖 Solve a problem. There are always problems your audience have that you can solve. Take them through the problem scenario and how to fix it. You'll build trust and create confidence in your knowledge. ⁠

🌗 Encourage engagement. Share all your posts from the previous week in case your followers missed them. If they interact with your posts (Like, Comment, Share or Save) your posts will appear higher up on their feeds. Explain to your followers that this is why you are sharing them, just an image won't be enough to make them click on the post. ⁠
